Robin Long AKA CoastalCraftyMama Living Room Reveal

Room shot of coastalcraftymama's living room with neutral tones and farmhouse decor.

You’ve seen her photography on our Facebook and Instagram pages many times, because we love how Robin Long, AKA CoastalCraftyMamaOpens in a new window, has mastered the art of combining two styles – modern farmhouse and coastal cottage – for truly warm and genuine results. It turns out that our fangirling is mutual! Robin is a super fan of Ashley HomeStore and became one of our Ashley Insiders, jumping at every opportunity to collaborate with us. Now, we’re thrilled to announce that our friendship has taken another leap forward with an exclusive partnership.

Right off the bat we decided to give Robin a challenge: redecorate her entire living room. She took that challenge and ran with it and we think the results are AMAZING.

As is the case in most homes, Robins’ family room is the place where memories are made and laughter is spontaneous. Because her kids spend a lot of time in this space, she wanted to make sure it was roomy, kid-proof and comfortable enough for everyone to enjoy.

The focal point of her living room is a sectional that delivers classic elegance without a hint of stuffiness. The Luxora’sOpens in a new windowneutral tone and reversible ultra-plush cushions are ideal for family life, while the “Charles of London” arms and nailhead trim add timeless touches that will impress the guests. A few decorative pillows, along with the fun and functional Adelphie poufsOpens in a new window, and this living room space was off to a great start.

Robin thinks that every living room should have an inviting reading nook. Good news is that creating one doesn’t require a lot of extra space. Follow Robin’s lead – tuck the Malakoff chairOpens in a new window into a corner, add a throw and a trendy pouf, and voila! Now who else wants to curl up with a nice book and cup of tea?

Robin adds finishing touches to the room with small pieces that make a big impact. The MirimynOpens in a new window accent table adds coastal charm, while a few candle holders pave the way for mood lighting that  add a touch of romance.

There’s definitely more to come from this Coastal Crafty Momma. We can’t wait to see what other home decor ideas she has up her sleeves. Stay Tuned!
