Today I’m sharing my latest project: rustic simplicity a holiday table setting. Holiday decorating time! Woohooo! Today I am happy to share the simple tricks I use to set a chic yet easy holiday table. With this decor, I partnered with @homedepot to create a lush and layered holiday table. Rustic simplicity is the theme. For the first time in history, I am actually planning my holiday tablescape in advance! I’ll show you the stress-free way to set a table that will make for cozy holiday entertaining with family and friends! Keep reading to see some super simple ideas!
Here it is! My holiday tablescape is inspired by rustic simplicity. I had so much fun putting this together and I’m beyond happy with how it turned out. It is the perfect layered, rustic, and relaxed table. I hope you find some inspiration from it.
Here is a peek at the mood board I created while I was concepting out which items I wanted to use, creating a color palette, and solidifying my ideas. This helped immensely in creating such a simple yet elaborate design. I highly recommend you make your own mood board before jumping into the design.
Candlesticks
When I found these candlesticks I knew they would be the perfect addition to my tablescape. The wood adds a nice warmth to the design and complements the centerpiece.
Next, I found these fantastic light blue ceramic plates. They have more of a romantic feeling with the soft edges. When I saw them with the table cloth in mind it gave me such a french country feeling – which is exactly what I am going for. I really enjoyed creating layered tables that have multiple details. Layering the salad plate on top creates the perfect mini focal point.
